"Dazzle For Dolly" Crystal Community Class 9.25

The Dazzle Academy presents “Dazzle For Dolly”. A crystal community class and open studio in her honor on 9/25, on the official-unofficial, Dolly Parton Day!

Shine never goes out of style and neither does our favorite rhinestone cowgirl. Dolly has always held a special place in my heart. Every summer me and my grannie would take roadtrips from Ohio to Georgia, and best believe it was all Dolly everything. She never let me stop at Dollywood, I’m still a touchy suspect. To this day, hearing her music and seeing her sparkly style has always felt so nostalgic and special to me. I truly treasure everything she embodies and hope I too can leave this world a sparklier place. I never got to dazzle Dolly, but I did do a crystal fishnet project with Beyoncé during The Cowboy Carter Tour, where we used inspiration from Dolly’s Playboy moment. It played every show, and I just know she loved it!

As a tribute to Dolly, our open studio session gives you the opportunity to bring your own project to dazzle, and we’ll supply the studio and the sparkle.

You’ll have access to all of our supplies, like bows, sparkly stars and hearts, plus loose crystals and trim. You can use our cutting table, sewing machines, tools of the trade, as well as our heat press machines. I will be there to consult, give tips, and guide you away from any dazzle decision fatigue. You also get a chance to do a mini shoot in your dazzle because that’s what Dolly would want!

When: 9/25 @ 6p-9p
Where: Our Studio City location will be sent upon confirmation.
Included: Tour of the d.bleu.dazzled showroom for inspo, studio access with crystals, trim, tools, heat press machines. Crystal consultation w/ Destiney Bleu, and you’ll get dedicated time to do a little mini photoshoot against our pretty pink Dolly inspired backdrop.
Format:  Open studio, bring your own items, costumes, projects etc.
Investment: $92.50. A portion of proceeds will go to Dolly’s “Imagination Library”.

What To Expect: Bring something of your own and give it the dazzled Dolly touch. We’ll provide you with a “Dolly Dazzle Bar” full of gems + trinkets for your crystal concoction.

• Crystal Station: Assorted rhinestones, crystal stars, hearts, flowers + initials.

• Pearl Station: Loose flatpack pearls and trim.

• Bow Station: Pre-made bows, ribbons + rhinestone trim.

• Country Glam Station: fringe, cowboy hats, butterflies, lace + appliqués.

Please Note: Each session is limited to 5 students, so everyone gets the space, attention, and sparkle they deserve. Our open studio format is hands-on and informal. Come as comfy or cute as you’d like. Our intention is to garner a crystal community, bringing back the culture of crafting around the table, connecting and creating magic in real time.
